ATHLETICS - Ricky steps out for Wales

RICKY CHALLINOR has been one of three Deeside AAC members in action in Dublin.
The distance-running ace represented Welsh Schools in an International Schools Cross Country fixture against Ireland and Scotland.

Ricky secured fourth position in the under 17s and under 20s race ahead of Phil Edge who was 16th, and Dave Mountford who finished in 17th spot.

And three Deeside members have been selected to represent Wales in an international cross country match in Perth, Scotland, this weekend.

Charlie Hulson, Jamie Wright, and Abbie Oliver will travel north of the border to compete for their country.
