DEESIDE SUNDAY LEAGUE - Boars Head won the Division One Cup Final after beating the Carlton Club 2-1 at Flint.
Carlton took the lead through Dave Gleave before the Boars Head drew level on the stroke of half time through Darren Pritchard.

Pritchard netted his second ten minute from the end to clinch the win.

In the league, The Yacht won by the odd goal
in nine at the Mill Tavern.

The Taverners took the lead on 40 minutes when Richie Hughes struck but the visitors drew level through Ian Wynne.

In the second half Mark Lewis and Marcus Taylor scored inside two minutes for the Mill before Craig Jones got one back on the hour mark.

Two minutes later Chris Burke extended the lead to two goals once more for the hosts before three strikes from Mathew Harvey and a Ross Thomas goal gave the visiting side all three points.

In Division Two the Hope and Anchor travelled to the Melrose and came away with a 3-1 win.

They led 2-0 at the break courtesy of a Nick Fell double and a Mike Lewis penalty extended it to three in the second half.

Scott Skeen got a late consolation strike for the Melrose.

The Boot Inn beat the Custom House 7-1 despite the visitors taking an early lead through David Hulse.

Neil Wynne and Craig Leaman turned things round by the interval and the Boot dominated the second period as Leaman completing his hat trick, Gareth Cross netted a brace and Dai Jones scored.
