HOCKEY - Billy plays his part in Wales' credible showing

RUABON'S Billy Swarbrick has just returned from Eindhoven where he was one the two captains of the Welsh Under 16 boys team in a prestigious tournament.
The Welsh team came a creditable sixth out of 12 in the event that included a number high quality European club teams.

The tournament was won by the Royal Antwerp who only beat the Welsh team 2:1 in the first round.

Back home and Northop Hall Seconds have a North Wales Shield quarter final against Dysynni on Saturday. Twenty four hours later, Hall firsts team have a Welsh Cup quarter final against Cardiff UWIC.

Wrexham also have a last eight date with Whitchurch.
